I wish I had someone to throw $1,000 at me...that would be nice...but, I don't think I would accept it either if I were her. That's not a way to win her..but it is a way to see her again. If that is what he wanted more. Cause he left the address sure so maybe she could apply for the job, but he didn't leave any info. about the job offer, so....it was mainly just a ploy for him to get to see her again. Michael only gave her the check to get her to come into his office. He knows, there's no way, she's going to cash it. He wants her to storm into his office, throw it down on his desk and then, he's going to offer her the job as file clerk.
