Shouldn't that have blown her cover and revealed her as a spy? A spy who can't speak Chinese?
at the chinese embassy in Beijing (was it Beijing? I think so hm...) with Sloane where she used that little cool invisible car? remember?

hee...but jen already did a great job in speaking cantonese....at least memorizing them....remember the ellen interview? she remembers a few lines of cantonese....it's so amazing....but i dun kinda know what she talks about.....not until she translate it her own....

next year will be my first year of chinese at school. anybody have any suggestions? I am at a slight advantage because I can speak japanese semi well--- sooooo..... that helps a bit i guess- altho they aren't too similar, i think just being able to understand another asian language will work to my advantage. Characters are going to bite me in the ass, cause i'm still working on japanese kanji and the many different meanings and pronounciatoins of zillions of characters. now i get to add in chinese readings and meanings. lovely. i'm actually really excited. see you guys around.

Wow...you're crazy...I would shoot myself  :hmm:

don't they use like part of the chinese alphabet in japanese...which is why one of my friends took japanese...since she already knew how to read and write in chinese.

I'm going to be in a similar situation next year...continuing Spanish...taking Latin (it's required) and I'm starting French as an elective!

a lot. We spent 2 weeks learning Japanese in French class when i was in grade 8  it was.... interesting.... considering that we weren't doing what we were suppose to be doing.... :ermm:
